Pocket sliding doors
The pocket sliding system allows the sashes to disappear into a wall cavity for a fully open connection to the outdoors. With slim profiles and discreet sashes, solar gain is maximised and indoors and outdoors become one.

Corner pocket sliding doors

A corner sliding glass door can be opened with sliding sashes or a pocket system; the sashes are concealed within the wall section, allowing the space to be opened as much as possible.
Corner windows can open in tilt-and-turn, with sliding panes or pocket-mounted systems.

The standard size of a sliding glass door is generally between 200 and 250 cm high, with a width ranging from 180 cm to 600 cm. This range makes it possible to adapt the sliding glass door to various configurations while maximising natural light.
What is the difference between a sliding door, a pocket sliding door, and a French door?
A sliding glass door is characterised by its sashes that move laterally, optimising indoor space. By contrast, a pocket sliding glass door is designed to disappear completely into the wall thickness when open, fully clearing the opening. A French door, meanwhile, works like a traditional door, opening inward.
Which sliding glass door is most resistant to wind?
Aluminium sliding glass doors are particularly wind-resistant thanks to their high rigidity. Adding double or triple glazing further strengthens this resistance and ensures better insulation.
