CEKAL: Glazing Certification
The CEKAL label guarantees glazing quality. It ensures performance in acoustic and thermal insulation, as well as safety. This certification covers three types of glazing: insulating, laminated, and tempered.
For insulating glazing, it certifies:
- resistance to moisture penetration
- acoustic insulation performance
- thermal insulation performance
- quality through a climate aging test
For tempered glazing, it certifies:
- treatment quality according to EN 12150 and EN 12600 standards

The Qualanod label applies to anodized aluminum products. It guarantees for each product:
- adequate anodic layer thickness, depending on the product’s final exposure

- abrasion resistance quality
- layer durability

The Qualicoat label applies to powder-coated aluminum products. It guarantees for each product:
- conversion layer thickness
- rinsing quality
- coating layer thickness

French Standard
